Meineke Car Care Center & K.R.S. Graphics have come on board to boost incentives for the Sunoco Fall Classic Weekend at Natural Bridge Speedway.
Excitement is building for the October 5th & 6th Fall Classic weekend at the beautiful Natural Bridge Speedway. The 7th running of the annual event, presented by Sunoco is still a little over three weeks away but the incentives for the competitors are continuing to mount, making this year’s edition of the $10,000 to win, $500 to start, Sunoco Fall Classic the most lucrative yet.
With the cost of travel on the rise, Meineke Car Care Center of Madison Heights, Virginia has stepped up to sponsor the 2012 Sunoco Fall Classic “Farthest Traveler” award. The Meineke Car Care Center, located at 4998 South Amherst Hwy. will award $250 to the Super Late Model team who travels the farthest to compete in the October 5th & 6th Sunoco Fall Classic. Award will be determined by Mapquest mileage between the driver’s entry form and the speedway address. Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania based K.R.S. Graphics Motorsports Media will present the 2012 Sunoco Fall Classic runner-up with a 2013 Motorsports Media package valued at $1,100. The package consisting of year long, national press releases and 500 custom designed Autograph Hero Cards will be awarded to the second place finisher in the 50 lap, $10,000 to win event.
Also new this year, the fans will have a chance to get their favorite drivers autograph as competitors will be asked to participate in an autograph session to take place prior to the drivers meeting on Saturday.
The speedway is nestled in Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Natural Bridge and is located just minutes from Interstate 81. The GPS address for the fans and competitors is 168 North Dry Well Road, Natural Bridge, VA 24578. Self contained camping (sorry, no hook-ups) is available on the grounds, so come and stay for the weekend.
Early registration entry forms and Fall Classic information were mailed out last week. Forms will also be available in the very near future to download on the speedway’s web site at www.nbspeedway.com or you can e-mail the speedway at nbspeedway@ntelos.net or call Larry Ramsey at (540)460-1353.
