Wendell Wallace Turns Focus to Magnolia Following WOOLMS Double-Dip

(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Wendell Wallace once again hooked up with Steve Lampley's team to drive their #33 Barry Wright racecar in a pair of World of Outlaws Late Model Series tilts on September 14-15 in the states of Illinois and Missouri.

On Friday night at the tiny Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, Illinois, Wendell was deemed light at the scales following qualifying and his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him out of the $12,000 to win 'Photobilly 50.' At the Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri on Saturday, things went a little smoother for the team in the annual running of the 'Pepsi Nationals.' Wendell ran eighth in his loaded heat race, finished third in his B-Main, and later wound up twenty-first in the final rundown of the $10,000 to win, 55-lap feature event. Full results from the WOOLMS double-dip can be viewed online at www.worldofoutlaws.com.

The Batesville, Arkansas standout will be back behind the wheel of his familiar #6m this Saturday night, September 22 at the Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. The Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) will preside over the one-day event at “The Mag,” which boasts a $3,000 top prize.
