Barton, Reams, and Decker Bag Feature Victories at Lake Cumberland Speedway

Burnside, KY-September 22, 2012- Lake Cumberland Speedway would present a full racing program on Saturday evening and feature event winners for the night would include Dennis Barton of Corbin, KY in Super Late Models, Mikah Reams of Mount Vernon, KY in Modifieds, and Keith Decker of Somerset, KY in Super Dirt Stocks/Sportsman.

Tommy Gregory would take the lead at the start of the 25 lap Super Late Model feature event and would be pressured by Dennis Barton for the first eight laps of the event before Barton would take the lead in turn two on lap 9. Seventh place starting Johnny Wheeler would charge his way to the front and would take second from Gregory on lap 15 and proceed to chase down Barton and close in on his back bumper by lap 20. The pair would go side-by-side for the lead on lap 21, with Barton nosing back in front on lap 22 and Barton would keep Wheeler at bay and take his first Super Late Model win at Lake Cumberland Speedway in his Barton Insulated Storage Buildings sponsored #35 Killer Chassis. Wheeler would finish second, while Gregory, Randy Ridner, and Matt Henderson would complete the top five. Kenny Cobble would be the top qualifier at 13.669 seconds, while Barton also won the heat.

Mikah Reams and Ben Petrey would scoot away from the field at the start of the 20 lap Modified feature event, with Reams taking the initial race lead and never relinquished the race lead in the caution-free event to take his second win of the season at LCS aboard the Robert Reams owned McKinney Tire/Napier Realtors/Asylum Racing Designs/Mount Vernon Fuel Center sponsored #19 Lightning Chassis. Petrey would take runner-up honors, while Keith Denny would finish third. Ricky Tinch and Stacey Decker would round out the top five. Tinch would be top qualifier at 14.708 seconds, with Petrey and Reams taking the heat race checkered flags.

Keith Decker would turn in another dominating performance in picking up another Super Dirt Stock/ Sportsman feature event victory by leading all 15 laps of the feature event in his unsponsored #2 mount. Defending track champion Tim McMullin would finish second, with Allan Crabtree taking third place honors. Phillip Anderson and Sarah Patrick would complete the running order. Decker would also be the top qualifier at 15.284 seconds and also win the heat.
