The reason i ask we have a clements engines and they want us to throe our square tank away and get round tanks not sure the reason we have a mct tank in our car and itt is not baffled properly and spit oil from the breather all over so we cant fill the tank to the window

Do you have the engine sealed and have the Peterson popoff valve on the valve cover or do you run it with breathers on the valve cover?

When they start making square toilets I might consider a square tank. Until then, I will stick with round.

What does a toilet have to do with a drysump tank.

If you watch a toilet flush, it actually aerates the water, not what you want in an oil tank.

AND they do make square toilets.

Round tanks help de-aerate the oil better than square tanks. If you have a square tank it needs to at least have some curved section in it.

Basically the most ideal tank is round, skinny, with conical plates inside.

I do not agree on the skinny part as you would want the most surface area available to allow trapped air out. A skinny tank would allow air to be pushed down as more oil comes into the tank. This is why Nascar uses tanks that are about 18 inches in diameter.
