I run a camaro and we have to use the stock frame in the back in stock location and the front and rear leaf spring mount also in stock location and on shackles. My question is what is better for bushing using greaseable soild bushings or the urethane bushings. I will be trying next year the reinforced front segment leaf springs. I can only use chevy springs.

Anybody know what bushings would be better and why.

I've ran both. I like the urethane bushings better. Even if you get behind on the maintenance or the grease hits only one area, urethane will always be free.

We always used the mono balls. No bushing at all and takes the side load bind out of the springs.

What are the mono balls and where do you get them?

I think he is referring to what they call a pivot bushing.

I know this is Chrysler, but, I am pretty sure they make them for Camaro leafs too...
