Schaeffer Racing Oil becomes marketing partner for the Fall Classic weekend at Natural Bridge Speedway… Pancake Breakfast to start off big Saturday at the speedway.
Natural Bridge Speedway is proud to announce that Schaeffer Racing Oil and Regional Manager, Alan Bradley have come onboard to add sponsorship to the Steel Block Late Model portion of the October 5th & 6th, Sunoco Fall Classic weekend in scenic Natural Bridge, Virginia. When the Steel Block Late Models take to the track for time trials, they will be racing for more than just bragging rights as the fast qualifier will leave with an extra $150 in his or her pocket courtesy of Schaeffer Specialized Lubricants. Alan Bradley will also be on hand to award all the Steel Block heat race winners as well as the feature winner, 2 cases of Schaeffer Racing Oil. Schaeffer’s involvement will not just be limited to the competitors as it will also benefit the fans. Schaeffer Specialized Lubricants will present an autograph session on Saturday, prior to the start of the night’s activities. The Autograph session, scheduled for 5:00 – 5:45 will take place on the grounds near the front stretch grandstands. Driver’s already committing to the autograph session includes Jamie Lathroum, Booper Bare, Walker Arthur, Tyler Hershey, Tanner Kerr, C.S. Fitzgerald and Billy Beachler with many more to be announced.
Saturday morning, fans & competitors staying at the track will awake to the wonderful smell of pancakes as the youth from the Collierstown Presbyterian Church, will host a pancake breakfast on speedway grounds. Pancakes, sausage and more will be served, starting at 7:00am. You’ll be able to purchase a good hot breakfast until 10:00am., so if you’re staying at the track or in the area please plan on attending. All breakfast proceeds will benefit the church youth fund.
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to be a part of this weekend” said Schaeffer Oil’s Eastern Regional Division Manager Alan Bradley. “This area is so rich in the Farming, Trucking, Construction and Logging industries that it is a perfect fit for all the specialized lubricants that we offer. We will be putting together a little sample gift box of our products to be raffled off. Whichever industry you’re in, we have the perfect lubricant to fit all your needs. I am looking forward to meeting the fine, hard working folks of this area. It also helps that I am such a big race fan, and get to meet these great people at the track” added Bradley with a laugh.
Track owner Larry Ramsey agreed with Alan’s assessment. “This area is filled with hard working people and Schaeffer Oil and their products just go hand in hand with this region. I can’t thank them enough for coming onboard and helping with the Steel Block class. They are a big supporter of racing and we are very glad to be associated with Alan and Schaeffer Oil” stated Ramsey.
The speedway is nestled in Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley at Natural Bridge and is located just minutes from Interstate 81. The GPS address for the fans and competitors is 168 North Dry Well Road, Natural Bridge, VA 24578. Self contained camping (sorry, no hook-ups) is available on the grounds, so come and stay for the weekend.
