Daniel Baggerly Looks Ahead to Natural Bridge Following Wythe Clash Event
(RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA) Rural Retreat, Virginia native Daniel Baggerly returned to Dirt Late Model competition at his hometown Wythe Raceway on Saturday night, September 22, as the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series roared into the 1/2-mile speedplant. Daniel laid down the ninth quickest lap during the qualifying session, which locked him into the inside of the fifth row for the start of the $4,000 to win feature event. "Bagz" had moved up to eighth in the running order early in the race when he hit wheels with another competitor, which messed up the steering on his #16 Rocket ride. Despite the handling issues, Daniel was able to finish twelfth in the final rundown of the A-Main. Complete results from Wythe can be accessed online at www.carolinaclash.com.
The B&B Motorsports team will now gear up for the annual running of the ‘Fall Classic’ on October 5-6 at the Natural Bridge Speedway in Natural Bridge, Virginia. The Super Late Models will race for a $10,000 top prize in the two-day showdown next weekend at NBS.
