Joey Kramer Masters American Modified Series Event at Moler Raceway Park
Williamsburg, OH-October 12, 2012- The American Modified Series began its 2012 championship weekend at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH and second-generation speedster Joey Kramer of Hanover, IN would put his Lightning Chassis mount in victory lane and claim the $1,500 to win first place prize money.
Joey Kramer would take the lead at the drop of the green flag from his inside front row starting position and would never be headed in racing to the $1,500 victory. Series points leader Trent Young would take runner-up, while Doug Adkins would finish in the third position. Levi Kissinger would drive his machine home to a fourth place finish, with Donovan Lodge completing the top five in the running order.
The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Jimmy Payne, Shon Flanary, Collin Thirlby, Weasel Rhodes, and hard-charger award winner Jeff Bab(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word). The 30 lap, $1,500 to win event would go caution free and only take seven minutes to complete.
In preliminary action, Joey Kramer would be the Williams Precision Engine top qualifier among 26 entries at 14.183 seconds. Joey Kramer would win Hypercoil Springs heat one, while Doug Adkins won Wiles Driveshafts heat two, and Levi Kissinger would take the win in VP Racing Fuels heat three. David McWilliams would take the checkered flag in the B-Main.
