I tried a D-Port EFI manifold with the inside opened up about1' down on a oval port head. That worked very well and kept the fuel mixture pretty even on all 4 cylinders. The aftermarket and stock 2bbl intakes thend to run 1 and 4 lean. A 1 or 2" open spacer will help with those type of manifolds but will shift the torque curve upward.
