I'm bilding a new body for my IMCA southern sport mod, and I am wondering what everyone's opinions were on the size of the hood (if it should taper out towards the deck), angle of the roof, and angle of the spoiler. Thanks for any suggestions.

Yes make hood as wide as possible. I would put as much angle in the roof and spoiler as the rules allowed.

Remember its a sport mod! You dont have 430 cu in. Keep decking flat and roof flat.

So I shouldn't make a big angle in the roof or decking because of Lower HP?

And a larger spoiler rather than a smaller one is better?

If your running a spoiler def dont want a large roof angle! Takes air off the spoiler! Thats why the rules limit the curved roof. The back dropping down sends air to spoiler.

Hood wide yes. The firewall is like a wall. the wider hood keeps some off it.

Also fill in to the left of your footbox. Keep in mind that for every 1lb of air going underneath the car you need 2lbs to push it back down. Raise your hood 1-2 inches above your decking and have the sides on the hood to the max which is 6in. Taper the sides of the hood out to push the air out. PM me if you have any direct questions. Have alot of info from guys that have put their bodies through wind tunnels.
