Are chevrolet steel head motors competitve in the southeast tracks? What are Whitener and some of thr top guys running? Thanks

The steel heads have won plenty of races against the aluminum heads over the years. Do it if you can get the car light enough to take advantage of the weight break.

I have ran both and liked the bowtie vortecs way better than the darts.
