CARTERSVILLE, GA – The Top 10 drivers in the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series will be honored at the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Annual Awards Banquet on January 12, 2013 at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame and Thunder Road Museum in Dawsonville, GA. The highlighted driver today is the 9th-Place driver Brent Barrett of Cleveland, MS.
Barrett accumulated 777 points in 29 races with a Weekly Point Average of 48.36 out of a possible 50, and drove the #110 Custom Spraying GRT to two wins. Both of Barrett’s wins came at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS. Barrett also had 17 top five finishes and 25 top ten finishes.
During the 2012 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series season, Barrett earned points at five different tracks. He had 18 starts at Greenville Speedway, four starts at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, four starts at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS, two starts at Malden Speedway in Malden, MO, and one start at Hattiesburg Motorsports Park in Hattiesburg, MS.
