CARTERSVILLE, GA – The Top 10 drivers in the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series will be honored at the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Annual Awards Banquet on January 12, 2013 at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame and Thunder Road Museum in Dawsonville, GA. The highlighted driver today is the 5th-Place driver Jeremy Shaw of Millport, AL.
Shaw had a successful season in both the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series and the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division driving the #1s Summit Resource Development Trak-Star.
Shaw finished fifth in the 2012 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series point standings after accumulating 790 points in 27 races with a Weekly Point Average of 49.29 out of a possible 50. Shaw had eight wins with three victories at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, three wins at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS, one win at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL and one win at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS.
