Ponderosa Speedway Announced Kentucky’s First Ever FASTRAK Sanctioned Track

(Four Oaks, North Carolina) – We are very excited at FASTRAK Companies International to make another huge announcement as this time. The “Bluegrass State”, Kentucky will be going for the first time ever FASTRAK beginning in 2013 as part of the 10th Anniversary “Decade of SPEED” season. It’s happening thanks to Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky bringing back racing under FASTRAK (crates) Pro Late Models on Friday nights this coming year.
Ponderosa Speedway is a 3/8th mile dirt clay oval nestled in Junction City, Kentucky and is very excited to usher in a “NEW ERA” with FASTRAK in the State beginning in 2013. Larry Yantz Promoter for 8 seasons at the track explains how it all came about. “My partner this year Kevin Colston has competed in FASTRAK races and ultimately testified to me that we needed to hook up with the sanctioning body than go “outlaw” to run crates in 2013.” Yantz continued with saying, “We’re very excited but a little concerned because it’s new in Kentucky; however we feel Stan Lester and everyone at FASTRAK will stick with this venture at “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” and any other dirt facilities that want to play ball to grow this into a huge success in our regional area.”
The FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring Divisional Series will be making a first time visit in Kentucky at the Ponderosa Speedway on Friday night May 31st 2013 with the 6th Annual Colston Paving 40. Ponderosa Speedway Promoter Larry Yantz commented on that in closing, “I believe our first FASTRAK Touring event will be huge, we’re also going to make this a landmark event to be on the calendar which will get bigger and prestigious every season FASTRAK and Ponderosa have this business relationship.”
