What hub are you using? I build steel tubes .Birdcages fitted to a 3.008 bearing so you will not need to do any work to the tubes . 563-659-1153

Most tubes are sold in one length and you cut them to the size you need.

Not sure where you heard this but it is not correct. They are sold in 1 inch increments.

24" tubes 30.5" axles

Unless QC 's are different than a 9" 30.5 axles are incorrect for a 60" centered. For a 60" centered you need a 32.5 on the right and a 28.5 on the left.

yokes are centered on a QC and are offset on a 9 inch

as stated,QC yokes are centered,..and if you change tubes,..youll need to change to the right length axles... http://static.speedwaymotors.com/images/charts/Chart-9197334.gif

next thing youll need to consider is if ya want GN hubs or wide5s...good luck...

We must use a different brand then. I've bought and installed a half dozen or so and all were cut to length.

My tubes that I build are custom length or made long so you can cut to the length you need, should use the end of tube to the inner bearing seat for a length.
