The 2013 World of Outlaws Late Model Series will kick off with the
busiest month of February in the history of the national tour with
their annual stop at Screven Motor Speedway will be featured again
come 2013.
Winter Freeze 2012 saw Florence Kentuckys` Darrell Lanigan start his
World of Outlaws Championship run & Tony Stewart win the All Star
410 winged outlaw sprint event on Saturday night in front of drivers
& fans from 37 states.
Several NASCAR drivers such as Kasey Kahne, Clint Bowyer have teams
that are expected to compete while others such as Kenny Schrader will use Screven as the
last stop to 'play in the dirt' with their high horsepower toys before reporting in at Daytona for
their regular jobs.
Screven Motor Sports Complex 3rd Annual ' Winter Freeze' ' event has
been restructured to include A PAIR OF FULL WoO LMS Racing Programs on Feb. 8-9 “The 2013
World of Outlaws Late Model Series is definitely going to start in
unprecedented fashion,” said WoO LMS director Tim Christman. “We
think this schedule of events will be very attractive for both the racers and fans Redd
Griffin will spin off TWO COMPLETE PROGRAMS , running a 40-lap, $8,000-to-win A-Main on Fri., Feb. 8, anda 50-lap, $10,000-to-win show on Sat., Feb. 9. Dirt Late Model teams
will have an opportunity to practice at Screven on FEB 6 & 7."
Also on the Feb ' Winter Freeze' program will be complete racing programs for the
410 Winged All Star Sprints,Tony Stewart is the defending Champ of the
Thursday Feb. 7th event.
The National Late Model Series will compete on Friday night for
$3,000 to win & Saturday night for $5,000 to win, with a bonus for the
GM Performance sealed engine late models to win & the highest finisher
each night. The NLMS rules & tire package make this bonus possible &
as been posted by track owner James ' Bigg Redd' Griffin.
The Florida Mini-Sprint Association is at Screven for three nights of racing,
and are a smaller scale version of their big brothers, powered by
13,000 rpm motorcycle engines on exotic fuel, resulting in exciting racing.
The Gamec o c k Kart Track Speedway will also be running a big event
during the day to alow Sprint & SLM drivers to compete & allow the kids watch
the touring pros at night with the Georgia based Tri-State Officials presiding and drivers willbe racing
during the daylight hours to allow some of the touring late model & sprint car
pros to bring their karts to compete for the big money & will gain national recognition.

Gee-Chee Creek Mud DragTrack & Screven MotorSpeedway .
