Is it worth buying a quick change and having to add the 100 pounds the track wants u to add for it. Does it take more hp to turn a qc than a 9in?

More gear selection and cheaper gears. If you run one track and have the perfect gear for it with the 9" then no not worth anything. If you run 4 tracks then maybe worth it to you.

what a crazy rule.the quick change is not going to win you a race like say alum. heads. they say a qc takes up to 15 hp depending on the gear.I would say that track is just tring to lock cars in so they can't travel to other track as easy.

Most cars are over weight. How much additional weight will you really need to add to meet the requirement. Most guys in our area run 30-100 heavy so it may be a nominal amount of extra weight you would need to add and the convenience of the quick change would be well worth it. I can't wait till IMCA figures this out and allows the QC.

does the 100lbs have to be a certain place? my track is running imca and open cars together with open cars running 50lbs up front but same over all. i dont like the idea, id rather just weigh 50lbs overall more. If you just have to weigh 100lbs over all heavier then that isnt to bad since alot of cars are over weight anyways

First time track changes and you can add or take away gear in 5 minutes it will be worth it we were stuck with a 9 in for years now on QC and it is sweet!!!
