Just because you say it's weak doesn't make it so.

By some estimates there are 310 million privately owned firearms in the U.S. You have a higher likelihood of being hit by lightning then you do of being killed in a mass shooting. I would say by and large there are a lot of responsible gun owners out there. Many, many times more than irresponsible owners.

We live in a free (so far) society where our right to arms is a constitutional protection. One of the drawbacks of a free society is that there are those willing to abuse their (and yours) freedom and act in a manner detrimental to others. The only way to positively make sure that nobody abuses their freedoms is by removing them. People make libelous or slanderous statements all the time. That is an abuse of free speech. I suppose we could give up our speech protections to ensure that no libel or slander ever happens again. How much of your freedom are you willing to give up to create your version of an utopian society?

BTW: I asked you what makes the responsible gun ownership argument weak. Other than calling it weak you've done nothing to back up your claim. Please humor me and see if you can make a coherent argument to prove your "weak" claim.

Once Americans talked about and thought of, their nation as the nation of a chosen people. The Right still does, the Left has ensorcelled themselves in a thought process designed to damper, destroy, and obliterate the greatness of America and Americanism. Americans should reject Liberalism and everything it stands for outright.

Smoke going straight out the barrel is normal, but what the heck is that second smoke stream shooting behind and away from the barrel? Perhaps some sort of release value to diminish the recoil from the shot but I’ve never seen that on a range.”
