North Central Arkansas Speedway announces early season plans.

North Central Arkansas Speedway (NCAS) has signed a sanction agreement with the United States Racing Association (USRA) for the 2013 racing season. Both the “A” Modified and “B” Modified divisions will be sanctioned and will be racing for a track point fund provided by USRA. The stock car racing at NCAS will continue on the traditional Friday night schedule.
We will start off the season with Modifieds, Super Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Pure Stocks, Mini-Stocks, & Hornets racing on the Friday night program.

ATV & Dirt Bike Racing will be featured at NCAS on twelve Saturday evenings in 2013. A
TT Course is being built utilizing part of the oval with a series of curves & jumps in the infield.
Full safety gear will be required for all ATV & Dirt Bike riders. There will be trophy classes for amateurs and a money class for the pro-riders.

The first activity is a Volunteer Work Day, Saturday, March 23, with all interested parties invited to help spruce up the facility and prepare for the 2013 racing season. Free refreshments will be available for the volunteers.

The Spring Automotive Swap Meet will take place at the speedway on Saturday, March 30. There is no charge for buyers or sellers. This swap & sell is open to anyone wishing to sell anything Automotive or Motorcycle related. Included will be items of interest for Hot Rods, ATVs, Motorcycles, Dirt Track Racecars, Vintage Cars, Truck-pullers, Drag Cars, etc.

Testing and Tuning Sessions are scheduled for Sunday March 31 & April 6 from 1 to 5 pm.
These are great opportunities for drivers to shakedown their racecars in preparation for the racing season. These sessions are open to all classes of racecars to include ATVs.

Friday Night Stock Car racing starts on April 12, 2013; while the first ATV – Dirt Bike race takes place on Saturday night, April 20. A truck-pull has been scheduled with the Draggin Wagon pulling sled for Saturday Night, July 20. For more information, please contact the speedway at 870-449-5277.
