Talladega Spring Set Up

Does anyone know what spring rates people are running at Talladega Short Track? I've got a new metric street stock and am trying to figure out a base set up for the track. Car is 3200lbs. The track is a 1/3 mile, med-high banked track. Typically the track is pretty dry slick by the time the feature comes around.

Thanks, I was thinking about trying that set up but with a 1100 lf and seeing what happens. The car came with a 1400 lf, mystery rf, 175 lr and 225 rr.

No I bought a car out of N.E. Tennessee. It raced at Volunteer Speedway. Do you race at TST?

How did you finish?

Was the track slick in the heats and the main?
The LR looks real heavy.

Spray, not trying to jack your thread, just trying to get the big picture on the light springs in the front.

Jeff, If and how much trail braking do you use??

Yes I race there and the Valley .Jeffs set up works good but in the race he is talking about our regular season rules said we had to pull 17 inches of vacuum no weight jacks.We were at a huge disatvantage .Not to pick at Jeff our track allowed it. If u will read Jeffs post u will learn alot. Atlest I did.

Well I ordered a 1100 lf and 1200 rf. What will the extra 100lb rate on the lf do to the car?

I dont run theme springs so I really could not tell you.My car dosent react the same so my adjustments are different.Are you coming to the Valley next week for practice?

No we had planned on practicing but not enough time to get the car ready. We are gonna go to the Tuesday practice on the 5th then the first race on the 9th at tst
