What kind of valve cover gaskets do you guys recommend. I take my covers off every 3-4 races to check valve lash and the Speedway Motors neoprene gaskets no longer hold up like they did back in the day. I don't care what they cost, I just want something that doesn't leak and can be reused multiple times.

Nate - I use the FelPro 1628. I have a set in stock if you need a pair now.

Use the cork with the steel shim in between.Glue them to the valve cover and you are good to go.Need to check those valves after every race.

My local NAPA store has the rubber gaskets, with the steel lining in them. Cometic also has some, and they look identical to the NAPA's.

We have used the blue Moroso Perm Align valve cover gaskets for years. We check our springs and lash after every race and they literally have lasted for years and years. They do not leak. They are about $45 a set...
