We have a set of headers built for the 4-7 swap for our 13* motor, however the left side doesnt fit the car due to the door bar location. We have another left side header that works, same tube size etc but not collected the same as the 4-7, what difference will this make? Will it hurt the power, torque etc? 4-7 header has 1 and3 going out together and 5 and 7 going together into the collector and the new header has 3 and 7 and 1 and 5 going together at the collector. Any experience good or bad that you can share. The old header (that matches the right side would fit if we can manipulate where the collector and tubes come together and pull them out just a little bit but i hate to mess with them much. Any info helpful and appreciated short of buying another header.

Unless they are tri-y it doesn't matter

There might be a difference on the dyno but in the real world we never noticed any difference, we have the 4-7 swap headers and only one motor is 4-7 swap and both motors run just fine .

They are tri-y. Sorry left that out at first.

Then it matters. You can't have any two cylinders that are next to each other in the firing order dumping into the same collector.

Mine are Tri-y too, my statement above stands, good luck.
