Hawk "Black" Pads

Looking for any opinions of reviews on Hawk's "Black" compound brake pads.

I used to run those years ago. I liked them. Relatively easy on rotors and good over a variety of temps. At least that was my experience.

I've been using Wilwood's E compound. I'm not looking for anything in particular, just wanting to try something different to see if can gain something. Any idea what I should expect with this switch?

We used them for several years and they were just fine then about 3 or 4 years ago they apparently changed the compound and they ate up a set of rotors. We are using the Wilwood E pads now.
