Does anyone use the lightweight Braile batteries? If so how do they hold up and which model do you use? Thank you. This is On a 2.3 Ford with 13:1 compression ratio.

We use the little Odessey batteries on our Midgets. Many of our customers use TOTAL POWER batteries and alternators too...

Do you sell a kit to install an alternator?

I've been throwing around the idea of making a little tidy mount for one of the mini 93mm. Denso alternators. Keep it nice and tight to the block, and off to the exhaust side probably... Are you looking for one?

I was thinking about running an alternator and a smaller lighter battery instead of the heavy red optima I'm running now. I'm also trying to figure out a power steering system.

Toyota 4wd P/u has a nifty compact pump w/remote reservoir. 1981-84 or so......easy to mount , very light weight. Doesn't need a herkin' mount like the stock 2300.

Hope this helps

I run Braile with my 700hp 13.5-1 Rambler engine with 40 deg. timing locked out and started it fine till later in the year..and it started acting weak..bought a 2nd and run 2 now and had great luck since...

I run the 21 lb Braille w/ no alternator on a 2.5. Holds up fine as long as you don't have to do a lot of cranking and recharge between heat and feature.
