What lube should I use for the steel heim ends on my trailing arms, tie rods, etc? Grease, oil, anti-seize, something else?

purchase FK rod ends with a teflon liner, and you will never have to lube a heim again.

I saw in one magazine that using a moly lube on your heim ends works well. But the guy that used that had little covers that kept dirt from getting on the heim ends. But I agree with the teflon coated heims, less to maintain.

I hear what you guys are saying about the teflon. I just wanted to know what would work best on what's already on the car.

thx

Micro armor products are really good, also Tri flow works well if your local hardware store has it..

I use Napa silicone spray.

You guys that use the silicone or moly lube. Do you just spray it on and wipe it off or do you have some type of boot that covers the heim end?

I just spray it on and let it dry. It seems to dry and leave a film that doesn't collect dirt or dust.
