Saturday March 2nd Harris Speedway will kick off the 2013 season with an open practice. Practice will be from 1pm until 5pm with the gates opening at11am. Admission to the pit area will be $10 and the grandstands will be free. Concessions will be available. “We are expecting a lot of cars Saturday. We have had a lot of phone calls from drivers asking about the new clay that has been put down over the winter and about the change in banking of the track.” Stated Promoter Scott Childress.
March 9th the will be season opener for Harris Speedway with the 2nd Annual Richard Johnson Memorial. This will be a day race with the gates opening at 10:30 am with the drivers meeting scheduled for 1:00pm. Racing will get under way at 2pm. The Super Stock 4 division and the Street Stock 4 division will be running for $1000 to win feature event. Also on the schedule are the newly added Crate Sportsman division as well as the Pure Stocks, Renegades, Young Guns, FWD, and Limited Sportsman.
VP racing Fuels will be the official racing fuel at Harris Speedway for the 2013 season. Fuel will be available at the track weekly.
TNT racing equipment is the official parts supplier for Harris Speedway and will be at the track every race with their equipment/parts trailer. Contact TNT at 864-834-1631 or 864-505-3999.
