If you're talking overall width, pull the axles and run a tape measure right down the middle of it. The spool has a hole that goes all the way through it.

to do track just take a tape and hook it on 1 hub (at wheel face) and go across to the other side .The to find the off set go left wheel face to pinion then right wheel face to pinion .Also best to check it at top-bottom then front-back that will tell you if you have a bent tube

ok, Thanks guys, just wanted to measure it correctly before I put it up for sale.

May be easier to just measure the axles themselves and say what the axles measure. Just make sure you tell them it isn't the tube, just the axle. I think it's 1" or 2" off the axle length that gives you the tube length but I can't remember exactly.
