IMCA northern sportmod bar length

My sportmod currently has a 16 inch bar on the left side and 19 inch bar on the right with 1/2 inch of trail. I built brackets to be able run both bars at 16 inches. Chassis builder is little to no help so just wondering what everyones thoughts are on running the shorter bar on both sides?

Keep it the way it is, the 16" bar on the right side will just make the suspension react quicker. On all of my conversions I use a 16" on the left and 18-20" on the right side. If you have a mount that you can bolt in you can play around with different lengths and see how you like the shorter bar. The longer bar allows you to keep your drive without as radical steer changes through the rough parts on the track.
