And another sad day in America as the SEIU Service Employees International Union (SEIU) local 1199 in New York City allowed a celebration of the life of the late socialist Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez to be held in their offices Friday.

The event, organized by the pro-Chavez Bolivarian Circle of New York, was held last Friday at 6:30 PM and promoted on Facebook.

The event’s Facebook announcement declared that the event was to be held in the auditorium of the 1199 SEIU building on 43rd street in New York City.

Service Employees International Union (SEIU) is not a Union it is a Communist front!

I thought you was a Libertarian. What happened to their freedom to celebrate whom ever they wish? Is it possible you're more old man Republican than you wish to admit? If you are for freedom and rights, you have to be for everyone's freedoms and rights. If not, your freedoms are the ones that may be diminished. It's not about differences, but about what we have in common.

Where did I say arrest them. I just stated that it is a sad day for those who love freedom and recognize the assault against it. We know what the SEIU is all about, is that something to be happy about?

Libertarians do need to recognize threats to freedom, don't you? Why lay down and let Marxism destroy what you say you want?

There is no reason to arrest anyone for discussing or celebrating. If they took action that broke a law then arrest them. It's actually a great day for those that love freedom, when anyone here can discuss or celebrate anything they want. That is what the purpose of the first amendment was for.You can discuss anti Marxism all you want, you just can't do anything about it if it's illegal to do that. And I can disagree with you and say that idiot can talk about anything he wants to. The good thing is that Marxist idiot or anyone else can't tell us what to discuss. That is what we have in common.

I didn't say arrest them, just pointing out what they are doing. Uninformed people will never know anything about this most likely. That's why I bring stuff like this up.
