Paducah International Raceway Ready for the 2013 Season Beginning with Practice Sessions
Paducah International Raceway is approaching the end of the off season. Open practice sessions will be held on Saturday, March 16th and on Sunday, March 17th from 12 - 5 PM.
The season opener will be on Friday, March 22nd. Hot laps will begin at 7:00 and the green flag drops at 7:30. . Friday’s races include a full race program, UMP Super Late Models, UMP Modified, UMP Pro Late Models, UMP Street Stocks, UMP Outlaw Warriors and Stock Warriors. 2012 Track Champions, Super Late Model -Tim Brown, Modified – JR Mason, Pro Late Model – Cameron Brown, Street Stock – Mike Watson, UMP Outlaw Warrior -Kyle Clark and Stock Warriors – AJ Keeling are expected to be in attendance.
Upcoming events at PIR include the Inaugural NDRL “Let’s Get Dirty 75” paying $20,000 to the winner, Early entrants who have committed to racing are, Jason Feger, Bobby Pierce, Billy Moyer, Shannon Babb, Brian Shirley, Dennis Erb, Tyler Red(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) and Scott Bloomquist to mention just a few. Also, making his 1st PIR appearance for a special concert will be Cody McCarver (former member of The Confederate Railroad ). The World of Outlaw Sprint Cars will be roaring into PIR Friday, April 19th. See the “King of Outlaws” Steve Kinser, Joey Saldana, Jason Sides, Donny Schatz and Jason Meyers.
