FASTRAK Companies International to Host 3 Action Packed Races This Saturday, April 6th

(Four Oaks, North Carolina) – It’s going to be a super busy weekend coming up for the Officials, Drivers, Teams and Fans of FASTRAK Companies International. However we’re excited and more than ready to get back to the track. Eager fans are also anxious to see the dirt fly. It all goes down this upcoming weekend Saturday April 6th with three “barn-burner” racing events all across the Mid-Atlantic United States. The following is a Final “sneak-peek” Preview of what’s in store for anyone that attends one of the three racing events going on this Saturday.
Before we indulge in all the details us certainly extend this special invitation that you can make it out.
We’ll highlight first and preview what everyone has been waiting for “FASTRAK” Racing returning to the Northeast. The much awaited 2013 season was put on hold after “winter weather” wouldn’t take a break last Saturday March 30th. The Mercer Raceway Park in Pennsylvania is set to host the Series Season Opener for the FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Chevy-Buick-GMC Northeast Touring Series. There have been a lot of changes that have been in place for 2013 and worked on since the checkered flag fell last season. The Series is once again under operations for the 1st time in 7 years at the FASTRAK Companies International Corporate office in Carnesville, Georgia. The “Chiller Thriller” will take place again at the 3/8th mile egg shaped Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. It’s paying $2,000 to win.
Next up for Saturday April 6th action is the return of the FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring Divisional Series in the Southeast/Mideast. The series celebrating the “Decade of Speed Tour” is ready to try to tame the 3/8th Gordon Park Speedway in Grovetown just outside of Augusta, Georgia in the “Peach State” for the FASTRAK Spring Nationals. The race teams, drivers and most of all fans of the FASTRAK Universe are ready to see the “Premier Pro Late Model Series of the Country” battle it out for $2,000 to win. There was a FASTRAK National $5,000 to win event scheduled back on March 2nd but “old man weather” forced postponement of the event. It possibly will be rescheduled later in the fall of 2013. It’s going to be a much anticipated event to take place there this Saturday as the FASTRAK Racing Series has never competed at the 3/8th mile facility located just a short drive of Interstate 20. Make sure to put this event on your weekend itinerary as it’s shaping to draw some of the “best crate racers” in the Southeast to contend for bragging rights winning at Gordon Park Speedway for its Inaugural visit.
Finally remaining in Georgia on the northern side of the “Peach State” will be Round #2 of the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series. They will contend for $4,000 to win at the North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia. This is the first visit by the “Premier Touring Series of the Southeast” in 2013 but it’s not the first. Last season drew the biggest record car count at 39 cars. The eventual winner ended up being “The MacDaddy” Dale McDowell from Chickamauga, Georgia pocketing the money for the race. #H1 Riley Hickman from Knoxville, Tennessee is coming off “cloud nine” getting the victory pocketing the $5,000 to win portion of “Late Model Mania” at Lavonia Speedway also in Georgia. He leads the points and as I mentioned shocked everyone winning the race back on March 10th in a “spec engine” carrying only 600+ horsepower. The event this weekend will be 40 laps and pay $4,000 to the winner on the next leg of the 3rd consecutive year super late model series.
