i am helping a friend with his usra b mod. i am more familarir with 4 links. with this class you can run spring sliders. He has the spring on the rr rear behind with shock in front. and lr spring in front with shock in rear. this is a 3 link with a biscuit pull ba. to me this seems backwards. can someone explain if this is right? It was at the chassis builders over the winter to get updated and this was the way he had it put togher when he got it back. thanks in advance

Confused?

That is common for a three link. The RR behind helps tighten entry and the LR in front helps with drive off. There is no indexing like a four link. A three link relies on the rotation of the rearend housing. As the rearend rolls down on deceleration, the RR is compressed. The LR is compessed on acceleration because the housing is rotating into the front mounted spring.
