z-link / Swingarm

Can someone help me? By moving the front bar on a RR z-link down will that create more side bite and by moving up dose that give more drive ? what affect happens when a swing arm is moved up or down the chassis?

To understand more draw a line thur the bar to where it wouild go if the z was flipped over,if on rear it takes a little rear steer out.same side bite.lower front rods more drive lift them opposit from spring behind.
