View Full Version : Fairbury Speedway Cancels Practice Day, Prepares for Opening Night Saturday, April 27

The practice and tech day scheduled for Saturday, April 20th has been cancelled due to extremely wet conditions throughout the fairgrounds. Drying efforts are underway for the preparation of opening night which will kick off the 67th year of racing at the famed quarter mile dirt oval.

107.7 The Bull will have a live remote as the Fairbury American Legion Speedway opens the doors on an exciting season of stock car racing in 2013. Gates open at 3:00 p.m., with the drivers meeting at 5:30 p.m., hot laps starting at 5:50 p.m., qualifying at 6:30 p.m., and racing to follow. General admission is $10 for spectators and pit passes for regular nights are $25. The two-time UMP Track of the Year will again host racing in the Late Model, Modified, Sportsman, and Street Stock divisions.
