American Modified Series Visits Cedar Ridge Speedway for $1,500 to win on Saturday April 27
Glasgow, KY-April 20, 2013- After a successful 2013 season opener, the American Modified Series is set to return to competition as its quest for a 2013 series champion continues on Saturday April 27 at Cedar Ridge Speedway in Morgantown, KY with an event that will pay $1,500 to the winner.
The Saturday April 27 event for the American Modified Series will take place at Cedar Ridge Speedway in Morgantown, KY. The American Modified Series will present a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the $1,500 to win/$200 to start A-Main event. Also on the racing card at Cedar Ridge Speedway on Saturday April 27 will be Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Cruisers, Rusty Bolts, and UMP Mini Stocks
Cedar Ridge Speedway April 27, 2013 A-Main Payout: 1st- $1,500, 2nd- $750, 3rd- $600, 4th- $550, 5th- $500, 6th- $450, 7th- $400, 8th- $350, 9th- $325, 10th- $300, 11th- $275, 12th- $250, 13th- $230, 14th- $220, 15th through 22nd- $200 to start
Activities for the American Modified Series event at Cedar Ridge Speedway on Saturday April 27 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m. and the general admission area open at 3:00 p.m. Pill draw closes at 5:30, with practice laps set for 5:45 p.m. Time trials will begin at 6:00 p.m., with racing immediately following time trials. All times listed are CDT. Ticket prices for this April 27 event at Cedar Ridge Speedway in the general admission area are $10 for adults (ages 12 and over), children ages 5 to 11 will be $2, children ages 4 and under are free, and a pit pass will be $30.
Cedar Ridge Speedway is located at 3895 Rochester Road just 2 miles west of Morgantown, KY off of exit 29 of the William Natcher Parkway on KY Hwy. 70.
