I've gotten 100 different answers. It is on a GRT and the LF is a 16 5/8" one piece lower.

I have a 2-piece lower control arm that measures the following:

Center of ball joint to center of heim: 18 1/2"
Center of ball joint to end of tube (not including heim or jam nut): 17"
End of tube to end of ball joint ring: 18"

The only sizes I've seen are 18", 18 5/8" and 19". 18" I know is too short.

You have a 18 and 5/8 with the heim run in a tad too far.

So what would happen if I just go ahead and buy the 19" giving me the "wide front end" GRT? Increase negative camber on the RF?

Are you on their Updated Spindles? I always hated how tight those cars were....

Not on the updated spindles. We actually had to tighten the car up because it was too loose.

The left side is the standard GRT 16 5/8" though. I think the wides had a smaller left, like 15 5/8" though.

We have the std 16 5/8" on the LF and went to the 19" RF with a 7 3/4" upper a arm. The driver likes it way better than the std 17 5/8" deal..The car will turn where ever and whenever he wants now..We can put more neg camber in and it gains it quicker..

Top is a little longer. Looks about a 8 1/2 but I measured left at 10 1/2 and it has 10 etched in the back of it

Travis, if you want to update to the wide front end i have two complete sets i'll sell reasonable. 2left spindles,2 right spindles,2 one piece lowers for ea side and 2 uppers for ea side.Call me if you still have my # from when you were hunting the yoke.

I have a original wide front car and I think that the inner mounting points are in a different place than the old fronts so dont think that you can just put on the wide front, it may work but not sure how the geometry will be.

It isn't a 18 5/8". I bought one from Southwest Speed and got it put on and had -8* of camber. Replaced the spindle and upper (bent) and still had to put about 3/4" worth of washers to get it down to a reasonable camber amount.

The problem I'm seeing is differences in lower control arms. We tested a AFCO 18" up against it and it was way to short. We would have to lengthen the heim out way to far. The 18 5/8" is too long by a lot even with it all the way in.

I did call the company that made the one I have and by measurements, they consider it a 19".

I use 1" spacers at the moment for the upper on my wide front.
