Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Postpones April 27 Date at Cedar Ridge Speedway
Glasgow, KY-April 27, 2013- Officials with the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series have announced the postponement of tonight’s scheduled series event at Cedar Ridge Speedway in Morgantown, KY. The event has be rescheduled for Saturday May 18.
Due to the impending wet weather scheduled to move across the Western Kentucky area throughout the day on Saturday, series officials thought it was in the best interest of the race teams and race fans that would be making the long tow to Cedar Ridge Speedway to postpone the event to save everyone time and money on travel expenses.
The event has been rescheduled for Saturday May 18 and will see the same format as previously released. The May 18 reschedule date at Cedar Ridge Speedway in Morgantown, KY will now be the next scheduled stop on the 2013 Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series tour.
The American Modified Series will present UMP DirtCar Modified sanctioned dirt track sports entertainment at racing venues throughout Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee.
