The Southern Regional Racing Series will try once again to get back to racing tomorrow night at Volunteer Speedway. This will be the first-ever visit of the SRRS to the Bulls Gap, TN track for a $3,000 to win event.


BULLS GAP, Tenn. — The Southern Regional Racing Series will make its first-ever visit to Volunteer Speedway on Saturday, May 4 for a $3,000-to-win Super Late Model main event.


Racing besides the Southern Regional Racing Series Super Late Models will be the Fastrak Racing Series-sanctioned Pro (Crate) Late Models, plus the Modified Hobby and Mini Stock divisions.

The pit gate will open Saturday, May 4 at 4 p.m. and the grandstands at 5:30 p.m. Hotlaps are tentatively scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m. (once the sun begins to set over the track), to be followed by qualifying and then racing action beginning around 8:30 p.m. (ALL TIMES ARE EASTERN!)


SRRS shirts will be available at the event as well. The series will also be collecting money for the Jason Neely Race 2 Cure Parkinson's Foundation. Any donation is welcomes. All proceeds will go directly to the Foundation. Please donate!

As of right now, the sun is shining at Volunteer Speedway and racing is a GO! Weather seems to be moving north and away from Bulls Gap, TN.
