I am looking at a Bullitt Chassis and the guy doesn't know what year it is. I tried calling Bullitt but their site hasn't been updated for three years so I gather they aren't making chassis anymore. The chassis number is 732. Based on that can anyone give me an approximate year? Can anyone tell me if they are a worthwhile chassis? I am a Warrior guy but if they are decent the price is right on this one.

It's 2x3 rectangle. I have a handful of pics.

That's from the 80's

agreed, I had a 88 that was 2 x 3 and think by 90 all where 2 x 2 so pretty sure it is an late 80's most likely. The one I had was mandrel bent, meaning it was bent not welded angle cuts to make the jog. They were built in 3 pieces (separate jigs) then assembled together: center, rear and front clips.

It would be one built by Ray Callahan and/or his son Bret (the original bullitt) of Bullitt Chassis - Pekin, IN

Well that's a lot older than I am interested in. It's a nice looking car but that's way to old. Thanks for the info.

to old,...an probably right heavy compared to a more modern chassis!
