What are the benefits of running a 300# rf vs a 350# rif? Will the stiffer spring tighten up the entry? Car is a 97 GRT with updated spindles and birdgages. 604 Crate car.

A softer rf spring will tighten entry OFF THE GAS.
A stiffer rf spring will tighten entry ON THE GAS.

The softer RF will help the car turn better. Helps a lot in traffic. But you will lose some forward bite coming off. If you want to tighten
up entry without changing anything else, go to a stiffer LF.

if you go softer 300 you just have to add wedge to compensate. its a goat and it loves wedge.

My experiance with a very similar car is yes it will turn better on the 300 RF but you will lose drive off as compared to 350 RF. Just a small change in available traction can make this change work or make it a bad mistake and personaly I would rather have the drive off most of the time. I worked with stacked RF springs and am now back on standard springs as they were just too pickey on adjustments for me.
