Billy Moyer Readies for Bad Boy 98 Following Top Five in Little Rock Visit

(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) ventured to the I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday evening, May 11 for a visit by the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. Billy Moyer started his night off by posting the second quickest lap of the 27 entrants during the qualifying session. The Batesville, Arkansas native then finished second in his heat race and later drew the fifth starting spot prior to the start of the $10,000 to win feature event. Billy raced around the top five throughout the 50-lap distance and eventually wound up fifth in the final rundown behind only winner Shane Clanton, Darrell Lanigan, Josh Richards, and Rick Eckert. Full results from Little Rock can be viewed online at www.woolms.com.

Next up for Billy and his famed #21 team will be another high-profile event in their home state, this time at the nearby Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas. The 2nd Annual ‘Bad Boy 98’ will take place at Mooney and Connie Starr’s facility on May 17-18. Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying and heat races are slated for Friday night, while a pair of B-Mains and the 98-lap feature event are scheduled for Saturday evening. The winner of the ‘Bad Boy 98’ will take home a hefty $20,000 winner’s check. Billy finished second in last year’s inaugural version of the race, which is sponsored by Bad Boy Mowers.
