The Southern Regional Racing Series will once again try to get back to racing with a double header weekend in the Volunteer state. Both events will pay $3,000 to the winner.
After five straight rain outs, the SRRS is ready to get the season rolling again. Our last event was on February 9th at Boyd's Speedway. Michael Page became the newest SRRS winner on the tour.
On Friday night, the SRRS will once again head to Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN for the make up of the SRRS Thrill at the Hill. This event will pay $3,000 to the winner. Josh Putnam was the last winner of the SRRS event at Thunderhill back in 2011.
On Saturday night, the SRRS will then make the short trip to Hohenwald, TN, and invade Tennessee National Raceway for the SRRS Spring Showdown! Billy Moyer Jr was in victory lane last time the SRRS invaded Tennessee National Raceway in 2011.
Tire rule:
Open tires on front.
One (1) Hardness/Tire Option: Must durometer 60 or harder on rear tires only when checked with track and/or series durometer. Hoosier Shoulder Plated 1600, LM 40, Shoulder Plated 55; American Racer 56, Good year equivalent
4 REAR TIRES WILL ALLOWED PER CAR. TIRES WILL BE CHECKED AND MARKED WHEN CAR PASSES THROUGH TECH.
