Msd distributor with a mallory hifire 6 box

Can a msd distributor be ran with a mallory hifire 6 box?

yes the distr. is just a magnetic trigger. I run a crane box and have a holley box as a back up. just like a dodge distr. the pickup has a plus and minus side just be sure to hook them up correctly.
