Will Birky repeat at the Silver Dollar Nationals?
Last year Brian Birkhofer got his season back on track with a convincing win at the Silver Dollar Nationals. Can he repeat as the Silver Dollar Nationals Champion? Only time will tell, but to do so he will have to once again beat some of the best in the business. Owens, O'Neal, Bloomquist, Pearson, Blankenship, Moyer, Mars and many more will be at I-80 Speedway on July 19 & 20 for the Third Annual Silver Dollar Nationals.
The 80 lap feature will pay $27,000 this time around with $1,300 just to start the event. There's also the Belt Bash Non-Qualifiers event which guarantees that many more drivers will go home with more than just tow money as that event will pay $300 to start.
Then there's the always exciting and highly competitive USMTS Modifieds running complete shows on both Friday, July 19 & Saturday, July 20. Some of the best modified drivers will be on hand including; Ryan Gustin, Jason Hughes, Johnny & Stormy Scott, Kelly Shryock and many more.
Things kick off on Thursday, July 18 with open practice for both the Super Late Models and USMTS Modifieds plus a complete night of racing featuring the SLMR Late Model/CDM Late Model Challenge, the Nebraska 360 Sprint Cars and B Mods.
