The Sikx Gun Choppers (SGC) HomeTown Hero's Fund "Thank A Vet" Rally at The NDRL's McKean County Raceway June 14 and 15.
East Smethport, PA (June 3, 2013) With your generosity, the SGC HomeTown Hero's Fund has donated over $27,000 to assist our Veterans with emergency needs.
We invite you to join us, Friday and Saturday, June 14th and 15th, for the SGC HomeTown Hero's Fund "Thank A Vet" Rally!!! We are proud to join the McKean County Raceway and National Dirt Racing League at their "Let's Get Dirty" Weekend being held in Smethport, PA in the McKean County Fairgrounds. The excitement of the weekend includes racing, vendors and a LIVE!!! performance by National Recording Star Cody McCarver with special guest Adam Dean Mullins. Cody McCarver is no stranger to the SGC HomeTown Hero's Fund, having supported the fund by performing at several previous FUNdraising events and is scheduled to headline this year's "Thank A Vet" Dam Run and Rally on August 3rd. As a 20+ year veteran of the music business, Cody performed with the multi -platinum selling group "Confederate Railroad" for over 12 years, and more recently embarked on a solo career that has garnered him four Top 20 singles at country radio and four #1 videos on CMT Pure, CMT.com and additionally Music Row Magazine's independent artist of the year, 3 years in a row.
Cody's acting career includes the film "L.A. Dirt" featuring Michael Roark ("Magic Mike, The Following") and Country Music's' Tracy Lawrence, chronicling the increasing popular world of dirt track racing. Cody wrote and performs the title track for "L. A. Dirt" entitled "Let's Get Dirty". In support of the dirt track racing sport and country music, Cody has developed The "Let's Get Dirty Tour", which has already proven to be a hit at tracks around the country. The "Let's Get Dirty Tour" stops at the McKean County Raceway, Saturday, June 15th with performances by Cody McCarver and Adam Dean Mullins at 5pm.
