Pull bar travel when clamped???

How much pull bar travel do you want when clamped up on left rear? Is a 600-1200 progressive best or a straight 900,1000,1100 tracks we are running are usually slick come feature time any help would be greatly appreciated

IMO 1" and I would not use a progressive. lbs would depend how high your hooked up on top of the housing.
