FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

UFo “Revolution 2013” at Hesston July 4 Features Powerful Revised Payoffs!

(Mars, PA) Action will return to the high banks of Hesston Speedway on July 4. “Revolution 2013” will showcase the UFo/3 State Flyer Super Late Models in a 55-lap championship paying $4,044 to win. All divisions will race in championship features. With the trend of decreasing car counts around the region for special events, Hesston has made the bold move of reducing first place payoffs and redistributing the money throughout the field to allow more race teams to meet expenses.

The UFo/3 State Flyer Super Late Models will now pay $4,044 to win, but 24th place has been increased to $450 and non-qualifiers payoff has been increased to a whopping $250. Higher Super Late Model car counts will result in more feature starting positions. The Super Late Model starting grid will be a minimum of 24 cars. However 26 cars will start with a car count of 35 and 28 cars will start if the car count hits the 40 mark.

Jeremy Miller of Littlestown, PA and Mark Pettyjohn of Milton DE, split thrilling UFo/3 State Flyer Super Late Model wins at Hesston in May. Other Hesston Super Late Model feature winners over the past seasons include Tim Fuller, Rick Eckert, Gregg Satterlee, Nick (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)son, Jamie Lathroum, Jeff Rine, Ron Delano, Jr. and Jim Yoder.

Hesston has become a mecca for late model fans with its double late model division program. 60 late model-type cars were present at the last event in May. “Revolution 2013” will include a 30 lap Semi-Late Model Sportsman championship will pay $800 to the winner, with start payoff being increased to $150 and non-qualifiers receiving $125. The GM 604/602 crate motor bonus will still be in effect for this event, with a $400 bonus going to the highest finishing crate motor car in the top 5 positions or $150 to the highest finishing crate motor car if outside the top 5 positions.

A-Cadets will race for $500 to win, $100 to start and $75 for non-qualifiers. Hobby-Modifieds will compete for $300 to win and $65 to start with Roadrunners paying $200 to win and $45 to start.

For “Revolution 2013,” Hesston will return to a traditional racing program. Pit gates will open at 2:00 with grandstands at 4:30. Drivers meeting and pill draw cutoff will be at 5:45. Warm-Ups for the Super Late Models, Hobby and Roadrunners will begin at 6:15 followed by a short 15 minute track prep. Racing for all divisions will then start at 7:00.
