Looking for another way to bolt together the body. Have been using the captured washer bolts and a flange nut, but getting tired of chasing the things around, and bolting the doors is a hassle. Seen a couple pics of some cars that have T-Nuts riveted to them, but having trouble finding a 1/4-20 T Nut. Any one using something similar and tell me where to get them?

1/4 body bolts with a J clip behind it. You can get them at parts stores or at fastenal. The clip goes on the decking side, works really well.

I use a threaded insert, harbor frieght sells the tool very cheap and it does work for years. I get replacement inserts from local hardware store. I then use a 1/4" machine screw with a countersunk finishing washer. Makes for extremely cheap and clean look. Have completed multiple cars with them and lasted.

Just use a clip-on or cage nut. Easier to install, no tool needed. http://www.mcmaster.com/#cage-nuts/=nbs4tr

I use a threaded nut called a jack nut. It collapses like an exploding head rivet and is 1/4-20 thread.
