Scott James Runner-Up at “The Gap”; Triple Shot of Racing Ahead

(BRIGHT, INDIANA) Scott James and the Warrior House Car team bolted to the ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on Saturday night, June 22 for the 'Summer Shootout 40.' The Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) made their first-ever visit to "The Gap" and a $3,000 payday was on the line. Scott qualified fourth quickest in his group during the SRRS qualifying session, which locked him into the outside of the fourth row for the start of the 40-lapper. The Bright, Indiana native was on the move throughout the 'Summer Shootout 40' and advanced all the way up to second to finish an impressive runner-up behind only race winner Chad Ogle. Complete results from Bulls Gap can be accessed online at www.volunteerspeedway.com.

The #1G team is currently putting the finishing touches on their equipment prior to a big tripleheader in the states of Tennessee and Kentucky on June 27-29. The Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee will kick things off on Thursday with a $3,000 to win Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) battle, while Friday will take the team to the Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky for a $10,000 to win UMP Summer Nationals tilt. Saturday’s weekend finale will then be held at the Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee, as the SRRS gangs puts up another $3,000 top prize.
