Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Event at 191 Speedway Cancelled; Cedar Ridge Next on July 13

Glasgow, KY-July 8, 2013- Officials with the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series would like to announce an adjustment to its remaining 2013 racing schedule effectively immediately.

The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series event that was scheduled for Friday July 19 at 191 Speedway in Campton, KY has been cancelled by the track due to economic issues that this summer’s string of inclement weather has caused the track. The tour wishes 191 Speedway the best of luck with its remaining 2013 racing schedule.

The series event scheduled for Saturday July 20 at 201 Speedway in Sitka, KY is still ON and will take place as scheduled, with that event being a 30 lap, $1,500 to win and $200 to start contest sanctioned by the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series.

The next event on the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series schedule is the Hope for Harlie event set for this Saturday July 13 at Cedar Ridge Speedway in Morgantown, KY. This event is a $3,000 to win, $225 to start event.

The American Modified Series will present UMP DirtCar Modified sanctioned dirt track sports entertainment at racing venues throughout Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee.
